The Formula 4 Southeast Asia (F4 SEA) championship moved to Thailand’s Buriram International Circuit over the weekend for the fifth and sixth rounds of the season. The event was dominated by France’s Alessandro Ghiretti, who won five out of six races over the course of three days, while Malaysians Alister Yoong and Muizz Musyaffa scored two and five podiums respectively. Ghiretti kicked off proceedings in dramatic fashion by securing pole for the first race, and promptly got off to an untroubled start. There was a closer fight for the lead in Race 2, which started with Muizz colliding with the stalled car of Japan’s Ryo Komikado. With the race restarted, Ghiretti, again starting from pole, was beaten into Turn 1 by Ireland’s … [Read more...] about Formula 4 SEA – Ghiretti wins 5 out of 6 races in Thailand, Malaysia’s Yoong and Musyaffa on podium

Related: Everyone Thinks Their City Sucks to Drive in, But These Are the Worst! The stakes are about more than trying to arrive without wilted hair and a sweat-stained shirt. Accord to experts at the Volkswagen-owned car brand, an interior temperature of 95 degrees slows your reaction times by 20 percent compared with how fast you react at 77 degrees. That's the equivalent, says SEAT, of a blood-alcohol level of 0.05 percent (without even getting the trade-off of a cold beer). That also may be part of the reason summer has a higher crash rate than winter. Here are five mistakes to avoid if you want to keep your cool, according to Angel Suarez, SEAT Technical Center engineer, with some additional tips. Some mistakes are obvious; others you'll have … [Read more...] about Keeping Your Cool Is No Sweat if You Avoid These 5 Car A/C Mistakes
