The Ford Mustang has the power to dominate at the drag strip. However, effectively using all those ponies can be challenging for the car. A new video from the CAR YouTube channel reveals that the right competitors – the BMW M240i, Volkswagen Golf R, and Audi RS3 – can capitalize on the Mustang's struggles and ride them to victory. The Golf R packs the smallest engine and the smallest punch of the bunch. Its turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder makes 315 horsepower (235 kW) and 295 pound-feet (400 Newton-meters) of torque, but this race isn't about power. The BMW's turbo 3.0-liter inline-six produces 382 hp (285 kW) and 368 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque. The Audi has a turbo 2.5-liter fiver-cylinder making 394 hp (294 kW) and 368 lb-ft. There won’t be many chances to see the Bugatti Chiron Profilée in the real world. Bugatti made just one, but a new video from the TFJJ YouTube channel captured the car on a recent tour of Paris. The video shows the one-off Bugatti in front of the Eiffel Tower at night, the iconic structure lit up before taking the car to overlook the famous city. Bugatti designed the one-off Profilée for customers who wanted a model that sat between the regular Chiron and the Pur Sport. Development began in late 2020, but it would never see series production because the company sold all 500 of the build slots for the Chiron and its variants. No Mustangs were harmed to build this mid-engine creation. However, a wrecked movie car donated its frame for a build featuring stock Mustang parts. That's how Chris Steinbacher of the B is for Build's YouTube channel started before ending up with a unique creation featured at the Holley booth during SEMA 2022. The wrecked movie car was built for the 2014 Need for Speed movie as a Bugatti Veyron replica. If you've seen the movie, it's the black and orange car t-boned by police in the final race. Since no one wanted to wreck a real Bugatti, they built a fiberglass replica and destroyed it. Even though the fiberglass body was shattered and a few other parts were broken, Steinbacher picked it up for $15,500. He had the idea of converting it into a mid-engine version of a 1967 Mustang . Sky Germany is reportedly struggling to bring a new free-to-air TV partner on board for the coming F1 season, after fellow broadcaster RTL’s contract expired. Multiple reports from Germany have come out claiming that the pay-TV channel, which is contractually obliged to share live rights to four races as part of its long-term contract with Formula 1, is still looking for a free-to-air partner, with RTL refusing to extend its contract – preferring to focus on its live football and NFL coverage instead. RTL had hosted Formula 1 on its channel for almost 30 years before Sky bought the full live rights to the sport in Germany ahead of the 2021 season, but other broadcasters ARD and ZDF are not believed to be interested in the sub-licensing rights for F1 at this time, with ZDF reportedly believing that the internal combustion engine element of the series does not fit in with its environmental alignment for the future.
