Speedkore stole the show at last year’s SEMA with the custom 1970 Dodge Charger featuring an all-carbon fiber body. Truly a project taken to the extremes, the classic Charger combines lightweight construction with a 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI V8 Demon crate engine that has seen significant modifications. With 996 hp at the crank and a “dyno-proven” 966 horsepower at the wheels, it’s one of the meanest Charger builds ever made. But there’s much more about Speedkore’s custom Charger than the carbon fiber body and insane power. Donut Media has dedicated a 10-minute presentation video to the heavily-modified muscle car and we can understand why the presenter seems overly enthusiastic about it. A pair of Dominic Toretto's prized rides from "Fast & Furious" (that's the fourth one) are arriving at a California auction, which means a couple of buyers can live out their "Fast and Furious" fantasies. One is a 1987 Buick GNX and the other is Dom's signature 1970 Dodge Charger, complete with its massive blower poking out from the hood. Fast and Furious 1970 Dodge Charger That blower is just a replica of a BDS unit and it doesn't actually work on the Charger. Still, a 430-horsepower, 440-cubic-inch V-8 sits beneath it and that works just fine. Backed up by a rebuilt 727 automatic transmission, the Charger would be a beastly street machine. It could probably be used as a drag car, too. After all, the Charger also features a full roll cage, a fuel cell, Wilwood front discs, Baird racing seats, and a remote battery cutoff switch. The car started life as a 1969 Dodge Charger but was modified to look like a '70 for the film. Fast and Furious Buick GNX The 1987 Buick GNX has been given … [Read more...] about Now you can buy Dom’s 1970 Dodge Charger and 1987 Buick GNX from “Fast & Furious”

The 1969 Dodge Charger is an iconic muscle car and its styling cues can still be seen in newer models such as the Challenger Hellcat. While the Challenger still looks pretty good after a decade on the market, it doesn’t hold a candle to the classic Charger. Bumbera Performance decided to fix that by combining the best of both worlds and creating the 1969 Charger Hellcat. Looking like it just rolled off the assembly line, the Charger has a stock appearance but a few clues hint at the power underneath the hood. Among the changes are a custom Magnaflow exhaust and upgraded brakes which hide behind five-spoke alloy wheels. While there’s no denying the exterior looks fantastic, much of the interior carryovers from a modern Dodge. As a result, the car has a lost some of its original charm.
