More specifically, that someone else was his daughter, Kate. He did limit her choices to the early Porsche color palette the factory had used. Porsche's 911 GT3 R race car has just been updated. The car is closely aligned to the 911 GT3 RS, with its 4.0-liter flat-6 said to be almost identical to the one in the road car. Back in 1967, Lamborghini unveiled a concept car with see-through doors. The car is called the Marzal, and it's set to make a historic visit to Monte Carlo this weekend. Lister is close to revealing a tuned version of the Jaguar F-Pace SVR. The British performance marque boasts that its version, to be called the Lightning, will be the world's fastest SUV. Wilsonville, OR – World of Speed Motorsports Museum, a Wilsonville, Oregon-based nonprofit motorsports museum, is celebrating the 55th Anniversary of the Porsche 911 with a new exhibit dedicated to one of the most iconic sports cars of all time. The World of Speed Motorsports Museum’s Porsche 911 exhibit will open on April 28 and run through December 2018. Celebrating 55 years of 911 legacy, the exhibit will showcase coveted street cars and race cars with rich history. Porsches will range from a 1967 911 SWB to the legendary Porsche 959 and the Peter Gregg Brumos 935. In all there will be 12 Porsche models on display, highlighting some of the Stuttgart automaker’s finest.
