The Mercedes-Benz EQC has ditched the usual monochrome camouflage for a funkier disguise in black and blue. The company’s electric crossover is getting closer to its debut and the near-production prototype is showing it. The model sports the “switchtoEQ” hashtag and runs on a strange aerodynamically optimized set of wheels. The rear flaunts a red-camouflaged area stretching from one side to another and extending towards the rear fenders, which hints to an LED strip similar to the concept presented last year. The wrap at the front seems to reveal that the vehicle features a conventional radiator grille, but that is out of the question since we’re dealing with an EV. And as we have already seen at the EQA, the sub-brand’s models come with a glass panel at the front that changes colors according to the driving style of the one behind the steering wheel. The Quattroruotte team has already tested the EV as passengers, in the desert, on the racetrack and on … [Read more...] about The funky electric
The next-gen Mercedes-Benz S-Class have been out testing in preparation for the model series that is set for launch in two years’ time. The prototypes have been spotted out in the street in Germany, in the vicinity of the Sindelfingen plant. The premium sedan should hit the showrooms in 2020, as a 2021 model. The car keeps the familiar proportions and elegant lines, keeping up with the contemporary design, but it will get a slightly wider track and an elongated bonnet, placed a bit lower, all providing it with an impressive stance on the road. Introduced back in 2014, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class W222 skyrocketed all the way up in the lead, dominating the premium sedans market. The arrival of the additional body styles, such as the coupe, the Maybach and the Pullman, with the latter two at the top of the list for the Chinese customers, made the sales figures bloom. The sedan will be based on the new MRA platform, replacing the updated version of its predecessor’s structure, … [Read more...] about Next-gen Mercedes-Benz S-Class spied

One of the most famous companies for making one-off super-cool cars, Zagato, has recently previewed a roadster version of its own imagination of Lamborghini Gallardo on its official website. Christened as L595 Zagato, this exclusive and redesigned open-top sports car is based on the original coupe version of Zagato’s only 5-95 Lamborghini Gallardo, which was created for a renowned car collector Albert Spiess. As evident from the images, the most prominent change on the L595 over the 5-95 happens to be the replacement of double bubble coupe styled roof for a more beautiful retractable roof, making it look even more exotic than before. In terms of design, the most noticeable changes on the car happen to be for the front and rear end, where the original sharp lines of the Gallardo have been tweaked for redesigned curves and swooping lines. Apart from it, mechanical specifications of the L595 have not been revealed, however, since it’s based on the 5-95 which has the Gallardo … [Read more...] about Lamborghini L595 Zagato supercar previewed
[Read more...] about Zagato quiere producir una versión especial del Lamborghini Gallardo.
