Tata Nexon is the official car sponsor of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 20-20 cricket tournament. The man of the series in the 2018 IPL will drive home a Nexon. Tata Motors has put together a Nexon called the Mumbai Indians IPL edition. The sub-4 meter compact SUV gets a couple of Mumbai Indian decals on the front fenders and one decal on the rear hatch-lid. The SUV also gets a blue and silver paint job with yellow inserts on the bumpers to give it the colours of the Mumbai Indians IPL team. To add some contrast, the SUV also gets black GT stripes on the hood. There’s a blue matte finish roof wrap as well. It remains unclear as to whether Tata Motors will actually sell the Mumbai Indian Edition of the Nexon to customers. Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, is a known motorcycle enthusiast. While he’s said to have nearly given up riding after having kids, the Prince is still known to take an occasional spin on motorcycles he fancies. While inaugurating the recently held Commonwealth Summit, Prince William took some time off to check out the Interceptor 650, a motorcycle that Royal Enfield will soon launch. Renault has just put out a new ad for the flagship Captur, starring its Indian brand ambassador Ranbir Kapoor. So far, Renault has been emphasizing about the design and premiumness of the Captur, and this changes with the latest ad that shows the Captur being driven aggressively off the road. Don’t let that fool you into thinking that the Captur is an off roader. Toyota Kirloskar Motors Limited’s deputy managing director N. Raja has just revealed the pricing strategy his company is likely to take for the badge engineered Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Vitara Brezza. Both cars with restyling and Toyota badging will be launched in India next year. The big revelation by Mr. Raja is that both cars with the Toyota badging will be priced similar to the prices at which Maruti sells the Baleno and Brezza in India. Despite being over 15 years old in the Indian car market, the Mahindra Bolero is selling like hot cakes. Mahindra has sold over 1 million units of this MUV and in 2018, the Bolero had another great year. Between April 2017 and March 2018, Mahindra sold 85,368 units of the Bolero, beating the Toyota Innova Crysta, which sold only 74,137 units in the same period.
