On February 22, 2019, news that 25-year-old Columbian driver Tatiana Calderón would be joining the Arden team for the 2019 Formula 2 season—thus becoming the first woman to compete in the modern incarnation of GP2/F2 that has run since 2005. And, like clockwork, outraged race fans took to social media donning their investigative journalist caps as they dredged up a history of Calderón’s race results to prove that she’s an unfit choice for the series. Cindric To Sub For Keselowski In Atlanta Happy Hour
HAMPTON, Ga. – Team Penske announced late Saturday morning that Austin Cindric will practice the No. 2 Autotrader Ford Mustang during Happy Hour at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Cindric, a regular in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for Team Penske, replaces Brad Keselowski, who woke up experiencing flu-like symptoms on Saturday and will miss the start of final practice. The 20-year-old starts fifth in Saturday afternoon’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event. Though Keselowski was shown walking into his hauler in uniform on FS1 roughly 10 minutes into the session, Cindric will help Paul Wolfe and the No. 2 team get the Autotrader Mustang prepared for Sunday’s Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta. Jussie Smollett Did NOT Pay Brothers $3,500 for ‘Attack’
EXCLUSIVE Jussie Smollett paid Ola and Abel Osundairo $3,500 to fake an attack, but sources connected to the case tell TMZ that's just not the case. Our sources say the brothers made a deal with Jussie to train him for 5 weeks so he could get in shape for an upcoming music video. Jussie had said to Ola that he wanted abs like his. Both Abel and Ola agreed to train Jussie, and also give him a 5-week nutrition plan. Our sources say Jussie told the brothers he would pay them for their services, but no specific amount was discussed. A few days before the "attack," Jussie wrote the brothers a check for $3,500. The memo line read, "5 weeks training nutrition plan." Our sources say Ola and Abel told the grand jury they were paid for the 5-week program and not for the "attack."
