Kate Middleton and Prince William are 'perfect parents' as Duke continues ‘stepping up’
Prince William and Kate Middleton are “perfect parents” due to their approach to privacy, a royal expert has told Express.co.uk.
William and Kate's public outings with their children strike an ideal balance, according to Richard Fitzwilliams.
The royal commentator and film critic told Express.co.uk that the couple manage to take their children out while also ensuring they are not overexposed.
He said the Cambridges give the young royals "opportunities that keep George, Charlotte and Louis to a certain extent in the public eye but also preserve their privacy”.
He added: "So, I think they're perfect parents, especially if you consider that William did as much time with his family and gave them as much privacy as he possibly could early.
"Because obviously, there are more duties and also he'll be stepping up probably to doing more."

Boleyn Castle: The home where Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn met that became a football ground
Anne Boleyn was the second of Henry VIII’s six wives, and the pair were married between 1533 and 1536.
While the pair's relationship ended terribly, Henry actually began courting Anne at a sprawling mansion at Upton Park.
When the monasteries were dissolved as part of Henry's separation from the Catholic Church, he sold the land off cheaply to loyal subjects.
Among the properties Henry sold was Green House, which was bought by a man called Richard Breame.
Green Street House, usually known as ‘Boleyn Castle’, was a stately home in East Ham in the London Borough of Newham in East London.
The house lay at the southern end of Green Street, a street that forms the boundary between West and East Ham.
West Ham United’s former Boleyn Ground was built immediately next to the House and took its name from the alternative name for the house (Boleyn Castle).
In its early years, the club referred to its new ground as the Boleyn Castle.

Meghan Markle and Harry ‘may have left kids in LA to protect them’, expert claims
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may have left their two children in California to protect them following their four-day visit to New York, it has been claimed.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down from royal duties last year and relocated to Los Angeles with their son Archie. The couple has since welcomed daughter Lilibet Diana.
Since stepping back from duties as senior working royals, Harry and Meghan have claimed they were stripped of their royal protections.
Last week, the couple appeared in public for the first time together in months as they started their whirlwind visit of New York City.
The couple’s children were notably absent from their post-royal tour of the Big Apple.
Matt Fides, a former personal bodyguard to Michael Jackson, said leaving the children behind in Los Angeles was not surprising to him.
Mr Fides said: “I have seen this many times in my career and even when working with Michael Jackson, we had to leave the children behind many times against his wishes due to threats upon them for financial gain.”

Meghan and Harry blasted for flying in ‘gas-guzzling private jet’ to climate event
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been attacked by an Australian radio host who criticised the pair for using a private jet after a climate change-orientated event.
At Global Citizen’s Live event, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle gave an impassioned speech about vaccine equity calling for two billion COVID-19 vaccines to be redistributed to low-income countries by early 2022.
During their slot on stage, Prince Harry called out “Are we prepared to do what is necessary to end this pandemic?"
His wife The Duchess of Sussex then went on to praise “the most brilliant scientists, researchers, frontline workers and selfless public health leaders” for their work throughout the pandemic.
Following the event's theme, the Sussexes’ decision to take a private jet from the event has come under scrutiny by Australian radio presenter Kyle Sandilands.
He said: "There’s the Duchess and Duch-ee of Broke, or whatever they are, over in New York.

Princess Beatrice following royal tradition with naming of newborn daughter
Princess Beatrice has delayed announcing the name of her first child with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi – but it could be soon.
Beatrice, 33, has been a mother for a week after welcoming a daughter into the world on Saturday, September 25.
The baby girl was born at 11.42pm at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.
However, the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson has yet to announce the name of her newborn daughter.
There are many strong contenders among bookmakers, but the little girl's name could be held back for longer in line with royal tradition.
When the Palace announces the birth of a royal baby, they usually do not reveal their name straight away.

Prince Charles is launching a new TV project focused on issues his late father Prince Philip was passionate about.

Before climate change was considered a global issue, Prince Philip dedicated much of his royal life to raising awareness of the issues the planet faces.

A new television channel named RE:TV has launched on Amazon Prime which features only programmes on climate change and related issues.
Prince Charles has launched the channel with hopes of “capturing” the “imagination of humanity”.

Royal fans spotted the wire when Harry went to hug Melba restaurant owner Melba Wilson on Friday, September 24.
Fans also spotted the wire being visible during the couple's visit to a school in Harlem.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were also witnessed with their own videographer on their city tour – and the camera operator was seen running ahead of them as they stepped out before a tour of the 9/11 Memorial on Thursday morning.

During a joint interview with Vogue, in the build-up to Eugenie’s 2018 royal wedding to Jack Brooksbank, the 31-year-old said: “We've had some serious grounding from our parents.
“They've had their fair share of terrible media interest and it makes us stronger.
"We believe very strongly in who we are, and the support system of our friends and our family is pretty incredible.
“There’s no point being angry with anyone for beating us up – we just need to shine light and love in the world."
Beatrice added: "It's hard to navigate situations like these because there is no precedent, there is no protocol.
"We are the first: we are young women trying to build careers and have personal lives, and we're also princesses and doing all of this in the public eye."

Meghan Markle may ‘never come to UK again’ says expert
Meghan Markle may “never come back to the UK” because of her “popularity” in the country, a royal expert has claimed.
Robert Jobson told US Weekly: "I am not sure Meghan will ever come to Britain again – she is not popular here now.
"The idea of her standing next to the Queen doting on her when you have got a book coming in which you're going to spill more dirty linen in public does seem a little hypocritical."
His comments come as 2022 marks Queen Elizabeth II’ s platinum Jubilee year.

‘William and Charles take scheduled flights!’ Harry blasted after new US private jet trip
Prince Harry has been blasted by a royal author after he and his wife Meghan Markle took a private jet home from an event that called for climate change action.
After attending the Global Citizen Live concert in New York on Saturday, the couple took a private jet back to their California home, a feat which a royal author has claimed "muddies the waters of their climate message".
She told The Sun: "I'm sure there were plenty of scheduled flights. I do not understand why they are behaving as if they are superstars.
"His father has been known to take scheduled flights. His brother takes scheduled flights.
"This totally muddies the waters of their climate message. They are shooting themselves in the foot by taking private flights."

Princess Beatrice’s baby name could be rejected by Queen
Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi welcomed their first child together on Saturday, September 18, but the royal baby’s name has yet to be revealed.
While generally, there are no set rules royals have to stick to when naming their babies and Queen Elizabeth II doesn’t have to approve royal baby names, as it is understood the decision lies with the royal parents.
However, it is thought that members of the Royal Family will ask the Queen for her thoughts on a baby name out of respect.
Previous reports claim that the Queen did not approve of Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew’s first choice for Beatrice’s baby name when she was born in 1988.
According to The Sun, the couple liked the name Annabel for their firstborn, but this did not meet with approval from the Queen who also reportedly disapproved of their second name choice Victoria

The BBC's 'Prince Philip: The Royal Family Remembers', saw the Duke of Sussex and other family members speak out about the late Duke of Edinburgh.
Daily Mirror royal editor Russell Myers suggested that Harry, who now lives in California with his wife Meghan Markle was inflecting the ends of his sentences and had an American twang in his footage.
During a Pod Save The Queen recording, he said: "One thing I will say, which is not having a dig, it's just a funny observation.
"I want to know what people think about Harry's accent when they watch the documentary. I found his diction extraordinary.
