Mazda recently introduced the 2019 CX-3 at the New York Auto Show and now the company has revealed the updated model will be priced from $20,390. Set to go on sale in the United States later this month, the 2019 CX-3 is $280 more expensive than its predecessor. Despite the modest price increase, the model comes with a number of improvements including redesigned front seats, a newly standard electronic parking brake and a new rear armrest with integrated cup holders. The center console and center armrest have also been redesigned and Mazda says this results in “significantly greater storage space.” Besides the interior updates, the 2019 CX-3 has a new grille, updated taillights and restyled wheels. There’s also higher quality materials and improved sound insulation. CX-3 Sport The entry-level CX-3 Sport comes equipped with fabric seats and a push-button ignition. Other features include a 7-inch Mazda Connect infotainment system, a rearview camera and Bluetooth connectivity. Buyers will also find 16-inch alloy wheels, two USB ports and power windows, locks and mirrors. There are also a handful of driver assistance systems including Smart City Brake Support, Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and a Direct Tire Pressure Monitoring System. The $1,100 i-ACTIVSENSE Package builds on those safety features as it adds Advanced Smart City Brake Support with Pedestrian Detection, Smart Brake Support and Mazda Radar Cruise Control with a Stop and Go function.
